What Is Really in Your Vegan Protein Shake? How to Read the Label

You decided to go plant-based with your protein powder. It felt like the healthier, cleaner choice. But have you flipped the tub around and actually read the ingredient list lately?

It is often shocking.

Many so-called “healthy” vegan protein blends have ingredient lists longer than a chemistry textbook. They are frequently packed with artificial sweeteners (sucralose, acesulfame K), thickeners like xanthan gum or guar gum to disguise chalky textures, artificial flavourings, and cheap fillers.

You are trying to fuel your body, not load it with processed additives.

The Power of “Just One Ingredient”

Real nutrition doesn’t need to hide behind fake flavours. Cutetonic Organic Rice Protein is shockingly simple.

Ingredients: 100% Certified Organic Brown Rice Protein.

That’s it. No asterisks, no hidden blends, no nasties.

Because it is unflavoured and pure, it doesn’t have that sickly-sweet chemical aftertaste of other brands. It’s a clean slate that lets you control what goes into your body.

Why Certified Organic Matters

Purity isn’t just about what isn’t in the tub; it’s about how the ingredients were grown. By choosing Certified Organic, you are ensuring that the rice used to make your protein was grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or GMOs.

It is the cleanest possible fuel for high-performance living. Stop settling for “dirty” blends.
